1. The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho
I’ve been hearing about this book for years and years, and I finally got around to reading it. It’s an extremely quick read – I finished it in about 2-3 days. It reads like a short story, with easy language, and fluid chapters. Cute life lessons throughout the entire book.
2. Three Wishes, Liane Moriarty
This book (a story about triplets) is light language-wise, but it gets pretty heavy in subject matter – marriage problems, drinking, some violence, etc. However, it’s also extremely light-hearted at times and pretty funny, as well as sarcastic. It took me quite a while to finish, because there were no true cliffhanger moments that made me run back, but I would definitely still recommend it.
