Walking Over the Brooklyn Bridge

After living in the city for almost six years, I hadn’t walked over the Brooklyn Bridge until just a few months ago! It’s a definite must-do for anyone that lives in (or even visits) the area. Gorgeous views, fairly quick walk (though you’ll certainly stop multiple times for photos), and lots of fun stuff to do in Dumbo on the other side!

Dumbo is the first Brooklyn exit off the bridge (Washington Street), and there are a ton of great things to check out. Lots of cafes and restaurants, tons of shops, and endless things to visit. (Next time I take this walk, I’ll have to remember to bring a lock and add it to that wall)!
