Sweater Weather

How many sweaters would you say you have in your closet right now? 5? 10? 20? It’s an item that always takes up a ridiculous amount of space in my wardrobe, as a sweater is the easiest go-to for fall..and they’re insanely comfortably. (So, if you’re at that 20-mark..or even higher..no judgement here. I’m right there with ya).
The funny thing is – I probably have a million different versions of the same exact sweater. (My go-to is this one from J.Crew – in both solid colors and patterns. They..and I..have a million). For this fall, I’ve got my eye on some new types of sweaters: anything with a zip (especially in the back), open-front cardigans, and ponchos. Just as comfortable as your typical pullover, but way more trendy!

Take a peek at some of my favorites from Nordstrom below:
The zip back sweater is a no-brainer, because it’s crazy cheap (my favorite is the gray). As for the open-front cardigan, I think the length on this one is perfect – extra cozy and great to wear over a pair of leggings. The poncho is a serious wish-list item – I love the color block and how they paired it with leather leggings.

Snoop around on the Nordstrom site – you can definitely find more affordable options for a poncho. Lord & Taylor has a great selection, as well. I love this one. And PS – a different version of the Eileen Fisher poncho is on sale at Lord & Taylor for a BIT cheaper..and they’re also running a sale! See it here.

Stay cozy out there!
