While I was out last weekend with friends, I was introduced to a girl who had on one of the cutest monogrammed necklaces I’ve ever seen – a very simple gold plate with her first initial engraved on it. I fell in love immediately and of course asked her where it was from – stella & dot.
stella & dot sells an array of pieces, from large statement necklaces, to engravable plates like the two seen below. They even have smaller accessories like makeup bags, scarves, and candles. Consider me a fan! The engravable pieces are my favorite; they come in either silver or gold, and you can pick how many letters (or numbers) you’d like to include on each plate. There are examples with just first initials, full three-initial monograms, and even dates (i.e. 12.17.85) – maybe to commemorate a birthday or an anniversary. Cute idea!
The little id tags also caught my eye..I like that the plate lies vertically and also that the writing (if you do a word) is sideways; it looks super cute when paired with some of their dainty little charms,
as seen on their website. I’ve come across a few on pinterest that have fun hashtags, too (#love, #bff, etc)..a really cute way to modernize the engraving in this hashtag era we now live in! Doing something like this would be a really cute gift idea for sisters or girl friends. (#noted)
