NYC Guide: The Smith

The Smith is one of my favorite spots for happy hour (mainly considering their midtown location is quite close to my office), and the food is very good as well! I recently met up with one of my girlfriends to catch up over dinner and drinks, and The Smith was an easy decision for us when deciding where to meet up.

The clientele is mostly a young professionals crowd, and their happy hours are filled with handsome suits and pretty black dresses. It’s a great spot for a post-work drink. And their East Village location has a photo booth! How can anyone say not to a photo booth..especially after a few drinks? So much fun.

Some of my favorite dishes at The Smith include the cauliflower flatbread appetizer, as well as the brick pressed chicken dish – both seen below. (For their full menu, see here). The dinner plates are a very nice size, and I always find that I have leftovers to bring home. Yum!

I love the bar at The Smith as well. The entire staff has always been very nice, and their custom cocktails are quite good. And like I said – it’s a perfect spot for happy hour. They also do brunch, which I haven’t tried yet, but I’m sure I’ll make it there soon! Gotta love their advertising, as seen below. So quirky.
If you’re looking for a brunch spot – or ANY spot this weekend in NYC – check out The Smith!
