NYC Guide: Haven’s Kitchen

Dec 15 2014
I just came across Haven’s Kitchen recently, and I’ve pretty much been stalking their website ever since. As it says on their site, “Haven’s Kitchen is a recreational cooking school, specialty food shop, and event space. Located in a charming carriage house two blocks from Manhattan’s Union Square, our business is dedicated to the preparation and enjoyment of delicious, sustainable, seasonal food.” Sign me up!!
Haven’s Kitchen has its own Kitchen Blog, which I LOVE! (See it here). There’s a great gift guide for the holidays, too – in case anyone in your family enjoys cooking – or food in general. You can see their gift guide here.
The list of classes that they offer includes a great variety – there’s something for everyone. Desserts, fish, stews, brunch items, Korean BBQ, tapas – you name it! It’s a tad pricey, but considering you get a full class and then get to eat the meal you cooked, it’s actually not too bad. I’ve heard about people doing cooking classes in NYC before, and apparently Haven’s Kitchen always gets rave reviews. Check them out!
xoxo
