NYC Guide: Crave Fishbar

Jul 21 2014
If you work in the midtown east area of NYC (aka everyone), definitely check this spot out – it’s called Crave Fishbar, and it’s on 50th and 2nd Avenue. I had lunch here on Monday, and I knew that I had to share it immediately. (And if you’re a seafood lover, consider me your new best friend).
The decor inside Crave Fishbar is phenomenal, and the food is just as great. (Though note that I’m clearly representing a biased opinion, as I love anything nautical, and the entire place has hints of anchors, sailboats, etc). But the food is no joke. Amazing.
The restaurant offers a prix fixe option for lunch where you can select two dishes, so I had the fish tacos (as seen above) and a grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich – both delicious. The portions are pretty large, so I was able to bring some food home, as well. Always a bonus! (For their full menu, see here).
Love, love, love the rustic nautical look. Great mirrors!
I cannot believe I hadn’t been to this restaurant yet, but I work only a few blocks away, and I plan on going back quite soon.
Check it out!
xoxo
