Musika Frere

Sep 4 2014
I’ve always been a fan of men’s fashion, especially well-tailored suits. The fit, the perfect hemlines, the details (#lovepocketsquares) – they’re perfection when carefully constructed – and likely hold a man within his most handsome moment. To me, nothing screams confidence and class more than a nice suit, and the line by Musika Frere exudes both..and more.
Musika Frere was founded in the fall of 2013 by business partners (and designers themselves) Aleks Musika and Davidson Petit-Frere, below, who concentrate on “pairing classic Italian and English tailoring techniques with modern silhouettes”. All designs by the dynamic duo (to say the least) are produced right here in NYC.
While their suiting whispers influence from these classic European stylings, the brand puts a sexy, modern twist on the general men’s suit. Their line is handsome yet fun, classic but chic, and many of their items can transition from daytime to night. A perfect suit, if you ask me.
See some of their suits below, and for more, see their full site here.
Celebs already spotted in Musika Frere pieces include Adrian Grenier, Chris Paul, Kevin Hart, Brian Hartline, Chad Ochocinco, Scott Disick, and more. (Quite an impressive list, and I’m sure it will only continue to grow).
Musika Frere debuted their Spring 2015 line last night during New York Fashion Week, and the pieces are simply beautiful. For pictures, see here. And be sure to follow their daily stylings on their instagram, @musikafrere.
