Mad for Plaid

Plaid is the perfect pattern for fall, and I plan on stocking my entire closet with as much of it as I can. I have a pair of red plaid leggings that my sister gave me I stole from my sister, and I love them – but they look like something straight out of the North Pole – so there’s no chance I could ever wear them out. But I think they’re the cutest! So..they’re for bedtime.
Aside from those leggings, I don’t have too much plaid in my current ensemble, so I was surfing the J.Crew Factory website this weekend to see what they had. As usual, I fell in love with 95% of their pieces, but I stuck to my original plan and made sure to grab a new plaid shirt (at the very least).
I picked out this shirt, and because they’re having a sale (30% off with code SALE30), I grabbed this trench coat and this pencil skirt (in the camel color), too. I also love this red shirt and briefly considered buying one, as I have mostly blues and greens in my wardrobe. However, I held my horses on this one, and I kept the bill down as much as I could. Maybe next time! (#noteasy)
I’m looking forward to pairing the plaid shirt I bought with jeans or my favorite black pants (25% off right now) – and layering as much as I can. Vests, statement necklaces, scarves, trench coats..the possibilities are endless.
