Spring is definitely here.
The sun is finally showing itself again, my fingers aren’t losing feeling as I shiver waiting for the bus on Second Avenue, and the new, spring air is also making my asthma try to kill me. So – I’m pretty sure it’s finally arrived.
It’s definitely a bit upsetting to put away all of the winter essentials – scarves, gloves, sweaters, vests, blazers, boots, etc. (I LOVE layering!) But I also cannot wait to break out all of the lighter, fun colors. We’ve had a rough winter, and it’s about time!
Springtime is all about refreshing your look with bright colors, happy patterns, and lots of fun skirts and dresses (my favorite!) And they are THAT much better without dealing with the hassle of stockings. (Every girl knows exactly what I’m talking about; those things are an absolute pain).
Pastels and bright colors are always a good go-to for spring, and you can always count on Vineyard Vines
to fully stock your closet in that regard. They ALWAYS send out coupons in the mail, so sign up and keep a constant eye on your mailbox. It’s definitely much easier to get ready for spring with a 20% off incentive!
My first purchase for this spring season was a Rebecca Minkoff
bag – something that I’ve had my eye on for quite a while now. A good friend of mine was at Century 21
this afternoon and texted me immediately when she found this beauty. (She knows me too well!)
I asked her to pick it up for me without even thinking twice. I really love the navy blue and gold mix – very nautical! Believe it or not, I’ve never owned a small, chic, cross-body bag like this, so I’m very excited to have my first one. Thank you, Rebecca Minkoff! I absolutely love this one. (And thank you to Century 21 for selling this bag for $100 instead of the normal $200+!)
Pack away all that heavy clothing. It’s time to get light and colorful!
