End of Summer Sales

One of the good things about the end of summer (okay, the only good thing) is that a TON of stores run crazy sales. End of summer sales, Labor Day sales, beginning of fall sales – whichever reason you want to pick..there are a million great promotions going on right now..and a million great items to choose from.

I was looking at Gap over the weekend, because they always have great staple pieces. They’re also affiliated with Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Piperlime, so their websites (and shopping bags) are connected, which makes bundling items from each store into one transaction super easy.

See some of my favorite picks from Gap below:

I caved and bought the denim vest (under $50!) – it’s a great layering piece for fall, and you can still use it on some warm days with a tee, as shown above. Per usual, I’m big on vests for fall, and this may or not be the third one (including the one seen here) that I’ve purchased this month. Oops.
The scalloped shorts are super cute and would be great to tuck away in your drawer for when warmer weather rolls around again. Like I’ve said before, it’s a great idea to get some pieces at the end of the season when they’re on sale and just hold onto them.
I love the boyfriend jeans as well – I own a similar pair from Zara and did an outfit post (with the same shoes!) here. They look great with a heel as well – cool mix of girly and grungy at the same time.

The satchel is the perfect size bag for a weekend getaway, and it comes in multiple colors! I really like that you have an option to carry it with either the handles or the strap.
